Smart link feature delivers a different page based on cookies
Curious if the smart link feature could ever deliver a different page based on COOKIES. I know that's not part of the feature set right now, but I wonder if it could.
My use case: we have an affiliate program that drives traffic to an optin/thank-you set of pages. Every affiliate wants their pixel on that thank you page -- but we don't want them to be able to target EVERYBODY who lands there (just their own people). The only way we can handle it is to dupe the optin/thank-you combo for each affiliate (which doesn't scale - so at the moment we only do it for the high-rollers and tell everyone else no).
BUT - imagine the smart link feature "seeing" the affiliate cookie come in and deliver a specific thank-you page based on the cookie it sees! Then we're only duping TY pages unique to each affiliate. Campaign-wise, it's HUGE time-savings.

This is still me (Karen) - I guess I can't remember which email I used to post this originally. Anyway, I really am wondering if you could address this.
Our original use case is still pressing: affiliates want to pixel our thank you page. And that would let them see EVERYONE to hit the page (not just theirs) and that's not fair. Duping the page (x 50 affiliates) so everyone gets their own is unwieldy.
We'd love to see a specific TY page get delivered based on the (affiliate) cookies seen in the URL of the opt-in page right prior to it.
